About Negotiations

ASA is committed to working with labor leaders throughout the negotiations process to reach agreements that are in the best interest of our people, our customers, our corporate shareholders and the communities we serve. The negotiation process is governed by the Railway Labor Act (RLA), the U.S. federal law that governs collective bargaining in the airline and railroad industries.

ASA flights attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA), ratified a three-year agreement on July 21, 2008. As negotiations occur, updates accessible through the Negotiations Update link.
